...of "getting the shot." I was set to go out and play today with my D40 and the lenses from my circa 70s film Nikkormat. I shot this in M (manual mode) so I took care of the settings before I went out...even had the camera set into the tripod. Soon after a few shots I realized that the dog must've come across a skunk *again* this summer and I had to come in. The moon is still blurry but my eyes are watering and I'm not going back outside. This event should remind you to be aware of your surroundings...don't walk off any cliffs, abruptly stop on the interstate, or hang out any car windows to get the perfect picture. As for me I need to go find the peroxide and baking soda to wash the dog ...
